Bikaner Tourism

The architectural beauty of Bikaner has mesmerized many a tourist from across the world.

The red sandstone forts and opulent palaces of Bikaner speak volumes about the rich history of this princely city. The city was named after its founder, Rao Bikaji, who founded it five centuries ago. The stunning architectural establishments of Bikaner reflect the Rajput style of architecture at its best. The camel rides of Bikaner are renowned the world over for their charm, and the city is aptly called the “camel country”. The famous Bikaneri bhujia and namkeen (a salted snack made of lentils) is a delicious contribution of Bikaner to the world. At one point of time, Bikaner was an important trade route linking India with China and Central Asia.
