The Rock-Cut Temples

Architectural marvels in its true sense, the Rock-Cut Temples of Masrur are worth a visit. Tourists from far and wide throng to this place to capture the beauty of these temples, which resemble the famous Ajanta and Ellora caves. The temples are meticulously and tastefully carved in sandstone. These partially ruined temples ornamented with exquisite sculptures are praiseworthy. The temples are magnificent examples of the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. The shrines house many beautiful images of the heavenly deities such as Lord Rama, Lakshman and Goddess Sita.
